Welcome to the official page, for “Felicity” a story that is being written by Me (Kat) in conjunction with NaNoWriMo.
What is NaNoWriMo?
NaNoWriMo stands for “National Novel Writing Month”, and takes place throughout November, each year. The general idea behind it, is for participants to write at least 50,000 over the course of 30 days.
And I have ultimately decided to take part.
Of course, it’s still just under two months away until November, but since this is the first year that I have chosen to take part, I’ve decided to get a little bit of preparation in place through this blog. I’ve recently been working on the Character profiles, but away from this blog, I’ve also been working on a Novel “treatment” mapping out the beginning, the middle and the end. The task for November will of course involve me connecting up each of the dots that are loosely laid out in my “treatment”.
“Five friends. The death of one, brings the rest together.”
When “left-behind” Felicity commits suicide, her four childhood friends are forced to face up to their past, in order to piece together the truth behind her death, discovering along the way that even though their lives may have changed, they certainly have not.
Felicity is a story of loss, heart break, new beginnings, love and moving on.
